Hajera. Let me tell you something about lunchtime at PBS

Let me tell you something about lunchtime at PBS. The bell rings and everyone races out of the door. Getting there is a mad rush as everyone pushes to get their lunch out of their bag. Most people eat as fast as they can. When they have finished they speed down the stairs to the handball court, they race down as if they are getting free ice cream!. The girls sit around and tell each other about how the have lost or won their netball games. Some of the  students like to play rugby or handball. There are always so many little kids that are so loud, they like to play with us big kids. They are like busy bees swarming around us.

In writing we have been learning how to proofread and give feedback / feed forward. After 4 minutes of writing we had to work in partners to make sure what we had written makes sense.

  1. Hello Hajera,
My name is Saffyre and I am a year 7 student in Te Ngahere at Paihia School.
Your school sounds very busy and exciting! What a funny example to explain the little kids and the big kids! Please keep up with more funny posts like this.
