storyboard
This week LS2 have been completing the city of sales challenges. The completed tasks that were set to complete were 5. For one of the activities, we were to research a kiwi who invented something. Today Nickaela, Sky, Hajera, Fui, and, I collaboratively worked together to find information about our kiwi inventor. As a group, we all agreed to create a storyboard about a kiwi called Geoff Barnett who invented a ride called the cycling monorail. It was called the cycling monorail because it was exactly like the skyline, but with someone who cycles a bike throughout the whole ride. We decided to create a storyboard about this invention by using storyboard that. Our story was about Geoff Barnett who went to a circus and tried out new rides, but then he thought about creating his own ride so that kids could be more active, besides sitting on a seat. Above shows the storyboard that we created and an image of Geoff Barnett's invention.

Steampunk art / Victorian Britain - Washing Day
This week LS2 and LS1 came together and started working on an art a steampunk art. what is steampunk art? steampunk art is inspired by steam-powered machinery They got the punk because it's really punk and they got the steam from the 19th-century technology. Do you ever wonder how the women's or little girls wash there family's clothing? they did not have a washing machine, the tool that was used was washing board, a tub of boiling hot water and laundry soap. The women's & their daughters stayed at home while the men and boys went to work or school, the washing would take all day the woman had by boiling water in a tub over a wood or coal-fired, the fire which took a long time to boil, then with a washing board they had to a whole bar of laundry soap into the water. After that tub with a dolly stick to twist the clothing and squish out all the water to dry in the another other that is heated in a tub and dried.

Today was the last day of art tech and I fished my art and I had a lot of fun carving out and drawing. I put a lot of work into my artwork and it paid off in the end, the colors I used was first yellow and then I used green and then I used orange and then I used brown and brown was my last color and yellow was the first color that I used. I really like how artwork paid off and next time if I do this again I would take my time and I have to carve out a little bit deeper.

Camels explanation
Did you know that camels can go 30 days without water and drink up to 46 litres of water and camels have changed over time. Camels live in every hot area in Dubai where it is ever hot and sandy, it’s about 42० heat.
In Dubai where it’s sandy and hot and where it’s 42० you can’t find water so easily so camels have to eat cactus to get water from them to keep hydrated if you touch a cactus it will prick and hurt so camels have thick lips and they want feel the pricks. Camels eat cactus because there is not a lot of grass and plants in the desert and it mostly hot sands.
Camels can walk on hot sand because they have pads on their feets to protect them from the hot sand. In the hot sandy days how can the camels see through the sand? they have double eyelashes so the eyelash can keep the sand away from the eyes when they are walking through the sand.
How can camels percent their noses from the sand well the noses close up so the sand does not go up in there nostrils so they can go for a long time. Camels have humps on their back where they keep fat in it which they can use it as food in time they need to.
Camels can go a long time without food or water because they have humps on there back and inside they have fat which that is there food, they can go a long time without water because they eat cactus to get water from them to keep hydrated and they have thick lips to help them eat the cactus and camels have pads on there feets so they can walk through the sand and they have doubled eyelash to help the see through the sand.
This week Mrs Anderson's writing group was learning about camels and how they have changed over the time to live in the hot desist in Dubai. Did you know that camels can go 30 days without water in the most hottest area it is about 42० diggers and they can drink about 46 litres of water.

Formal and informal
Today for reading we have been working on a formal letter and a informal letter and we had to find the meaning of formal and informal. A Formal letter is when you write nice and words that make sense, you can write formal letter to you boss and your work friends. A Informal letter is when you don't to care if it makes sentens or you don't how it looks, a informal letter can be written to your family and to your close friends.

I believe that there are a number of things that you could do to rectify this problem.
Firstly, you could purchase additional litterbins. This would help

This is a blog comment that I have written to one of my buddy named Brooklyn. A blog comment is when some comments on your blog about what they liked and what you should change and a question and you can comment back and say thank you and that you would change that thing that they told to you and answer the question and then say goodbye to them and that is how you can reply to a comment from someone and I really like writing blog comments to my friends

Panmure Bridge
Why the Panmure Bridge was built.
Did you know that the Panmure bridge was built three times?. The first Panmure bridge was constructed in 1854, the second Panmure bridge was constructed in 1916 and the third Panmure bridge was constructed in 1959.
Before all the Panmure bridges were constructed there was a punt, whenever anyone wanted to use the punt it had to be good weather to go on it.
People got tired of waiting for the weather to get good so they wanted a bridge. The first bridge was made from wood and iron, it wasn't strong so they didn't let heavy things on it.
Then the second Panmure bridge was built because the first Panmure bridge wasn't strong and so it broke. The second Panmure bridge was made from iron and wood and concrete. A few years later people were noticing cracks in the concrete, so they made the third Panmure bridge.
The third Panmure bridge was built in 1864 and it’s still standing until this day. Do you think in a few more years will have the fourth Panmure bridge?
This week our focus for Mrs Anderson writing group was why the Panmure bridge built, the Panmure bridge was built because people were getting tired of wait for the person that was sailing the punt to come and they were tired of waiting for the weather to get good so they want a bridge, if you want to know what happens next or if you want to know if they built the Panmure bridge and when you have to read my Expiation.

The best day of my life
The best day of my life
The best day I ever had was when I was about 5 years old and I got the best
news ever, I found out that we were going to New Zealand and I was so
joyful that we were going to New Zealand and that meant that we were going
to leave most of our family members behind but it also meant that we were
going to be safe in New Zealand. It was really hard leaving my friends
and family behind but was more hard was leaving my house and country
and it felt like I was leaving childhood home and a part of me behind and
was so happy that were leaving at the same time because we were going
to be safe.
