How Children Learn at School
How Children Learn at School
Do you remember when you were a child and copying your friends or teacher by observing, you asked questions because you are curious, and took risks in school to learn? Learning is having courage to ask questions, so that you are able to make connections with your what you are talking about. Learning is important since you are growing your knowledge.
Children are good observers, they are able to watch and learn new skills. By watching, they are increasing the amount of knowledge they have. Children look up to role models so they can see new ways that they could learn.
Children ask questions because they are eager to learn more. Children are interested in a topic, so they try to understand it more and so they ask for help from their classmates or teachers, to make connections with their learning.
Children take risks so they understand what they’re learning about, some of the risks are things like; asking questions, and asking students for help. Since they ask other people, they are looking at different perspectives which will help them explore different ideas.
Many people have different learning styles, some watch videos, some read, some people ask their elderlies like the teacher. To find your learning style, you have to find a way which makes you comfortable, like watching videos makes people comfortable because people are talking to you, with their opinions. You have to find something that makes sense to you. You could read, or even simply ask questions. Your learning style will help you understand, but everyone has different learning styles
This is my DLO that I have been working on with nazella and Joshua. We have been prating our writing Explanation and this is what we got for feed back (grate work just some parts I can not understand what your learning about. That's what we will work on to get better at next time.)

Panmure Bridge School Dance Performance
Last night, Panmure Bridge School performed their dances in front family and friends of students. When it was my turn, I felt butterflies in my stomach, but I also felt proud of my self for performing in front of big audience and working so hard on remembering the dance. When I went on stage, I saw my mum giggling and smiling at me. It made me giggle as well. I think that my group did an amazing job at dancing because they all felt comfortable and confident. When they all clapped, my dance group all felt proud.

Let me tell you about the worst mistake
Let me tell you about the worst mistake
Let me tell you about the worst mistake I have made at home. One day my dad just come for work he had an Samsung Galaxy Note 5+ in is hand. It was new and inside the pack. I was in my room. When he got inside he called me so I went to him. I almost fainted when I saw the Samsung Galaxy Note 5+ when he said it was my one! I felt so happy, it was as if I was going to Paris. But then two weeks later I went outside with my phone. It was in my hand the whole time. Then when my mum called me to come in inside I ran to the house and the phone slipped out of my hands and fell on the ground. I was as worried as if I was cat that did not want to go to the vet. I had no idea what to do. It was so scary and then I had to tell him. Sadly now I am not getting a phone until I am year 8 and it's going to be an iphone 6+. My sister has one but I don’t. It was my worst mistake ever and it wouldn’t have happened if i had an screen protector.
Today we did the 5-7-10 activity for writing to describe the worst mistake we have ever made. We had to write for 5 minutes, share what we had written with a buddy for 7 minutes, and then carry on writing for another 10 minutes.

Hajera. Let me tell you something about lunchtime at PBS
Let me tell you something about lunchtime at PBS. The bell rings and everyone races out of the door. Getting there is a mad rush as everyone pushes to get their lunch out of their bag. Most people eat as fast as they can. When they have finished they speed down the stairs to the handball court, they race down as if they are getting free ice cream!. The girls sit around and tell each other about how the have lost or won their netball games. Some of the students like to play rugby or handball. There are always so many little kids that are so loud, they like to play with us big kids. They are like busy bees swarming around us.
In writing we have been learning how to proofread and give feedback / feed forward. After 4 minutes of writing we had to work in partners to make sure what we had written makes sense.
